Handsworth shooting: Man charged with murder

A MAN has been charged with the murder of a student who was gunned down following an argument in a Birmingham street.

West Midlands Police said the 21-year-old, from Edgbaston, was due before magistrates today charged with murdering Dominique Grant.

Mr Grant, aged 20, also from Edgbaston, was found lying under a car in Uplands Road, in Handsworth, on April 19.

The suspect was arrested by murder squad detectives on Friday afternoon and charged following questioning over the weekend.
