Man dies after Lee Wellard event brawl

“Mr Weaver’s family are also aware of this fact, which is massively upsetting for them.

“We are reasonably confident we know who may be responsible but at this moment in time we need someone to take to moral high ground and make a statement.

“I would appeal for people to look to their consciences and come forward with any information they hold.”

In a statement issued last November, Mr Weaver’s family desribed him as a “loving, caring and popular son, brother and father” who was “popular within the local community”.

“We, his family, are devastated that no-one has come forward to help the police,” they added.
