Julie Walters in charity appeal to help bed-wetters

BLACK Country actress Julie Walters is backing a campaign to help families affected by bed-wetting.

She is urging locals to call a helpline by charity Eric.

“The fact that hardly anyone wants to talk about bedwetting just makes the problem worse,” said Smethwick-born Walters.

Up to half a million children and teenagers wet the bed every night but secrecy around the taboo subject creates further anxiety.
