Man's body pulled from canal

A MAN’S body was discovered face down in a Birmingham canal.

West Midlands Fire Service said two crews from Ladywood fire station were called the incident on Water Street, Old Snow Hill, at around 7.40pm on Tuesday.

Crews pulled him from the water and then attempted to resuscitate the man but he was confirmed dead at the scene.
