Police plea over missing disabled man

POLICE today said they were increasingly concerned for a disabled man who has been missing from his home in Birmingham for a month.

Wheelchair-bound Dan-Mihai Dumitrescu, left his home on Pelham Road, Ward End at 11am on Thursday April 30 to go shopping on nearby Alum Rock Road. A friend later saw Dan in Birmingham city centre, but he has not been seen since.

West Midlands Police said the 29-year-old was considered vulnerable. He is described as a dark-skinned European male, 6ft 5in tall, with short straight black hair and clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, a purple sleeveless top, black jeans and blue trainers. He uses a silver and black wheelchair.
