Edwards Buildbase in Redditch is firm's top fundraiser in area

EMPLOYEES at a Redditch builders merchant are the most successful fundraisers across their firm’s Midlands area.

Edwards Buildbase, in Ipsley Street, raised £3,227 for Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Buildbase has 33 branches in its Midlands division, which stretches from Nottingham to Nuneaton. Redditch branch, which has 22 staff, generated the highest amount per employee.

Across all UK branches, the campaign raised £106,549 in 2008/9.
