Man cut free from car after tree smash

PARAMEDICS have treated a man for serious injuries after his car hit a tree in Harborne.

Rescue teams had to cut the man, who was in his 30s, from the car before he was taken to Selly Oak Hospital for treatment for leg, pelvic abdominal and head injuries.

It happened just before 7.30pm on Saturday on Court Oak Road.
