Disney's Hannah Montana ticket prices sparks parent fury
DISNEY’S Hannah Montana brings a smile to the faces of its young viewers but ‘outrageous’ ticket prices have angered parents.
Teen queen Miley Cyrus – known for her starring role in the TV series Hannah Montana – has announced details of her Christmas concert at Birmingham’s LG Arena.
But fans will have to dig deep to see the 16-year-old sensation, with tickets priced at an eye-watering £49.50 and £60 plus booking fees.
With the average fan aged between seven and eleven that means pressure on parents to stump up the cash.
Mum-of-two Julie Hammond, a deputy nursery manager at a Surestart centre in Birmingham, said she will feel pressured to take eight-year old daughter Molly to the concert.
She said: “They are shocking prices. I am outraged and I think most parents will share the same view. My daughter loves Hannah Montana but I think those prices are ridiculous.
