Accused teen to stay in custody

A BIRMINGHAM teenager charged with a spate of knife robberies will remain in custody until his alleged victims can identify a picture of him.

The 16-year-old from Erdington will stay under secure supervision at a youth detention centre before re-appearing at Birmingham Youth Court.

He faces eighteen charges all relating to alleged incidents in Birmingham.
