Unions call to save LDV

TRADE Unionists today demanded the Government save LDV and other manufacturing jobs in the way that it has helped saved banks.

In a joint open letter, they highlighted that the Government had spent more than £50 billion bailing out and effectively nationalising banks.

“Real jobs in manufacturing are as important as the banking industry,” they said.
