David Williams, who is 32 and also from St John’s Road, Dudley also married a Jamaican national in March 2006 and she is still at large.
Daniel Williams married co-defendant and Jamaican national Donna Edwards, who became Donna Williams. She was in the UK on a student visa.
He also attended Brett’s wedding as best man and attended a third fake marriage as an official witness.
Donna Williams, who is 37 and from Marrow Fat Lane, Handsworth, was pictured on her wedding to Daniel in an intimate embrace with her real partner.
Dawn Whitehouse, who is 33 and from Hornchurch Road, Dudley, was a friend of the family. She admitted marrying a Jamaican national in July 2006 and admitted possession of a counterfeit driving licence.
Elisabeth Busey-Jones, prosecuting, said: “This is one of a number of cases and is part of an incredibly lengthy investigation.
“Venrick Clarke is already serving a nine-year prison sentence and he was known to take advantage of vulnerable people.
“It is accepted that he targeted people with drug problems to enter into marriages for money.
“He organised each and every marriage and also forged documents that purported to show that the two people had lived together at addresses.
“He used various methods, including money, drugs and violence. He knew the family because he had been a friend of Mr Williams senior in the 1990s.”
