MPs Expenses: West Bromwich MP to sue over sunbed claims slur
A FAIR-skinned Midland MP plans to sue a national newspaper after it wrongly accused him of claiming £160 for using a sunbed.
Sandwell MP Adrian Bailey said he would sue The Guardian after a reporter misread Sandwell Training Centre, which helps jobless people find work, for Solihull Tanning Centre.
The West Bromwich West MP said he is so fair-skinned that his doctor tells him to wear sunscreen at all times.
He said the £160 cash was used to pay half of the hire cost for the centre in Oldbury, while the charity Sandwell Training Association paid the other half.
