Simon Cowell and the X-Factor are back in Birmingham
JUST weeks since controversy over Britain’s Got Talent and Simon Cowell was back in Birmingham moving ahead with his X-Factor phenomenon.
Wanna-be stars, who had already come through preliminary rounds, were dizzy with excitement and nerves as they prepared to be judged by the showbiz guru for the first time at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre.
Among them was 28-year-old stunner Faye Bray, from Cannock Chase, looking dazzling in a burlesque dress.
The mother-of-three is a teacher at Brinsford Prison, in Staffordshire, by day, but transformed into a more sultry outfit for her crack at fame yesterday.
“I love singing and know I can, but performing in front of Simon Cowell is making me nervous,” said Faye, whose husband Richard, three daughters and mother Helen Dark came along for support.
“I haven’t told the prisoners and they definitely don’t know about this outfit, they would be banging on the cell doors.”
