Midland schoolchildren filmed in the nude

When visiting girls asked her about loud noises they had heard from the loft, Mrs Foxall blamed them on squirrels and birds.

Film footage was seized by police after they were tipped off by fire officers, who had noticed two camcorders charging up on a pile of washing in the landing when they arrived to tackle a serious blaze at the Foxalls home.

A fire officer had uncovered a combined TV and video recorder in the loft with leads and wires coming from it.

There was a camera hidden in a pile of rubbish and washing in the couples bedroom which had captured some of the footage shown to the jury, Mr Bradley said.

You will hear from the girls in due course, he told the jury.

He said they went there for parties in an inflatable swimming pool and to muck about.

He added: They were often encouraged to bathe, to go upstairs and have a bath after the pool parties, and sometimes they had a sleepover.

None of these girls had any idea they were being filmed - they were being filmed by strategically placed cameras, which had been placed in the bathroom, in the toilet and in the Foxalls bedroom.

He added: None of them had an idea that Mrs Foxall was shepherding them upstairs precisely so they could be filmed.

Mr Bradley said the couple had offered their bed to girls, even though other beds in the house were readily available.

They had breached the trust placed in them by children and parents, he said.
