Bangladeshi diplomat, Khandoker Mostan Hussain leaves Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM has said farewell to the outgoing Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh.
Khandoker Mostan Hussain praised the city which is home to about 45,000 British-Bangladeshis.
He described it as “a city with vast multicultural and religious diversity”.
He added: “It is wonderful to see different communities working together to make the world a better place.
“I have liaised with so many community leaders during my three years in office.”
Faizur Choudhury, chairman of the Bangladesh Business Forum, said: “Having a diplomat such as Mr Hussain was a pleasure for all and he will be greatly missed.
“Getting visas to visit our motherland has never been so easy and relaxing.”
