HUNDREDS of taxi drivers paid an emotional tribute to a murdered father-of-three found dying on a country roadside.
Around 200 drivers converged in central Birmingham in memory of tragic Mohammed Arshad.
He was found fatally injured in Hopwood, on the Birmingham-Worcestershire border, last Wednesday night and was pronounced dead at Selly Oak Hospital.
West Midlands Police said Friday night’s gathering, which started on Suffolk Street Queensway, was “peaceful and dignified”.
The event followed Mr Arshad’s funeral earlier in the day.
West Midlands Police said the gathering involving private hire taxis lasted from 10pm on Friday until 2am on Saturday.
