TWO men were today still being quizzed over the murder of a reveller killed when a hit-and-run driver mounted a footpath and ploughed into a group of people.
Antony Stephen Ames, aged 21, died, and two others were injured in the incident near the Place 2B pub in Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield, in the early hours of Saturday.
The men, aged 30 and 33, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday.
Both remained in custody today after detectives yesterday granted officers a warrant to detain the men for further questioning.
