Family Fun Day at St Giles gala

FREE fun will be on offer for families in Lichfield next month.
St Giles Hospice’s gala Family Fun Day will take place on Sunday, August 9, at Lichfield Cathedral School playing fields in Gaia Lane from 11am until 4pm with the promise of “something for everyone”.
The event will feature It’s A Knockout, with zany costumes, crackpot challenges, giant inflatables and a whole host of wet and wild games, carnival games, a kiddies corner, face painting, food and craft stalls, a tombola and a chance to have your photo taken with the FA Cup.
Helen Relihan, the hospice’s head of fund-raising, said: “By keeping our costs down through sponsorship and the generosity of numerous volunteers who are helping out, we are keeping this year’s Family Fun Day free to enter for everyone, with proceeds from the numerous stalls, games and activities on the day going towards St Giles’ caring services.”
St Giles Hospice is a registered charity offering medical and nursing care for people with cancer and other serious illnesses.
