Duo in court on hit-and-run murder charge
TWO men have appeared at Birmingham Crown Court charged with murder after a man died after being hit by a car.
Brett Cole, 33, of Weycross Road, Perry Common, and Anthony Stuart, 30, of Broomhill Road, Erdington, also face a charge of attempted murder. Antony Ames, 21, was struck near the Place 2B pub in New Oscott on July 25. Another man also suffered serious injuries.
Cole and Brett did not enter any pleas and the case was adjourned until October 22.
