Woman in hospital after Tamworth car crash

A WOMAN was taken to hospital with a head injury yesterday after she was in collision with a car in Tamworth.

Paramedics were called to Long Street, in Dordon, at 11.35am. The unnamed woman pedestrian, who was in her 50s, suffered a head injury.

The woman was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment and treatment.
