Traffic chaos after Kings Heath crash
A THREE-vehicle crash sparked traffic chaos on one of Birmingham’s busiest commuter routes during today’s morning rush hour.
Drivers were prevented from using Alcester Road South at Kings Heath after the just before 7.20am.
West Midlands Police said the drivers were not hurt.
But traffic was diverted and long queues of traffic formed while the wrecked vehicles were being removed from the road.
The accident also caused problems for bus passengers with the No 50 service, which runs on a route from the city centre to Maypole.
