Swine Flu: Ninth death reported in West Midlands
A NINTH swine flu death has been reported in the Midlands despite numbers of new cases continuing to fall.
NHS West Midlands said another adult with the H1N1 virus has died, but would not disclose the age, sex or location of the death.
It comes as the reported rate of GP consultations for people reporting flu-like illness in the region over the past week has dropped from 31.2 per 100,000 people to 20.3 up to August 23.
