Birmingham boxers join charity football match

TWO Birmingham boxers are among a list of celebrities set to go head-to-head in a charity football match.

Boxing champions Frankie Gavin and Wayne Elcock have signed up for the match between Birmingham City FC All Stars and Sunday side Monica Star Vets, to support people affected by MS in Birmingham and Solihull. The event will include a bouncy castle and catering stall.

The match will kick off at 11am on October 4 at Sedgemere Sports and Social Club, Sedgemere Road, Yardley.

Admission will be £3 for adults and £1 for children.
