Ashley Blake victim will spend compensation on plastic surgey

Ashley Blake

THE teenager attacked by disgraced TV star Ashley Blake wants to use the compensation he receives on plastic surgery, he revealed today.

Greg Jones said he will use the cash on medical treatment to remove the permanent scar from the injury caused by the sacked BBC reporter, pictured.

The 18-year-old, who is pursuing a compensation claim through the taxpayer-funded Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme, revealed he is also considering suing the former Midlands Today presenter for damages.

Mr Jones, from Streetly, said: “I have been told I will get some compensation, through the criminal injuries board for victims.

“I have no idea yet how much it will be. I would like to see if I can get my scar reduced.

“I really want to try and sort out the problem with my jaw. It still hurts and I have to go back to see doctors.

“I have been told that I can also take action against Blake. It something I am discussing with my parents. I haven’t decided yet.”
