M6 pile-up shuts 4 lanes at Coventry

MIDLAND motorists were facing rush-hour tailbacks this morning after a pile-up involving a lorry and five cars shut the M6.

All three lanes of the southbound stretch between Junction 3 at Bedworth and Junction 2 at Coventry were closed following the crash at 7.45am. One lane was closed northbound to allow emergency services and the Midlands Air Ambulance to access the scene of the crash.
