M6 tailbacks after lorry and five cars crash
MIDLAND motorists were facing rush hour tailbacks this morning after a pile-up involving a lorry and five cars shut the M6.
All three lanes of the southbound stretch between Junction 3 at Bedworth and Junction 2 at Coventry were closed following the crash at 7.45am.
One lane was closed northbound to allow emergency services and the Midlands Air Ambulance to access the scene of the crash.
Police said they no immediate further details about casualties and could not say when the motorway was likely to reopen.
