A FATHER-of-two who died in a motorbike crash will be remembered by colleagues when they unveil a plaque at the development where he worked as a builder.
James Hall was killed when he lost control of a motorbike he had borrowed from a friend.
The popular 26-year-old left behind his partner Danielle Fardy and two children, Niamh, aged five, and two-year-old Ben. His children will be present to help unveil the memorial on Monday at the Asda store in Chelmsley Wood, where Aston Villa fan James had been working for about 18 months as a labourer on a new development.
More than 500 people attended his funeral at Guardian Angels Church, in Shard End.
Dozens of colleagues from Wates Construction were also there.
James’ mum, Annette Hall, said she had been amazed at the show of grief since his death.
“All this has just shown how popular James was,” she said.
“He never fell out with a single person in all his years at school or work and everybody loved him.
