Karren Brady's anger at chants about Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor's mum
FORMER Birmingham City boss Karren Brady has attacked Blues fans for singing “disgusting” chants about the mum of Villa star Gabby Agbonlahor at last weekend’s derby.
The tough-talking chief executive announced she was leaving St Andrews after 16 years on Wednesday.
But yesterday she aimed a parting shot at Birmingham supporters who barracked the Villa striker with obscene songs about his mother at last Sunday’s derby – before he scored the only goal of the match.
Brady, 40, said: ‘‘There are a growing number of disgusting chants on the terraces and I hate them. Agbonlahor responded with dignity.’’
Brady, who will star with Sir Alan Sugar on BBC’s The Apprentice later this year, became the youngest woman to take charge of a British football club when she joined Blues in 1993.
