Baggies fan gets the right result!
THE Baggies may have lost on Saturday, but at least two fans were all smiles after getting the right result.
Simon Brown used the half-time break against Crystal Palace to propose to his Hawthorns season ticket-holding girlfriend, Claire Hunt.
And despite the Baggies conceding a second half goal, 29-year-old Claire left a happy woman after accepting Simon’s proposal.
“She was a bit shell-shocked,” said recruitment consultant Simon, who lives in Coventry with interior designer Claire.
“Claire had no idea I was going to ask, but she loved it.
“We lost one-nil, but at least I got a result out of it.”
Simon, aged 35, said he expected the wedding to take place in two years’ time.
