Long delays on M6 after lorry sheds load of kitchen worktops
THOUSANDS of commuters were caught up in rush-hour tailbacks on the northbound M6 after a lorry shed it’s load of granite kitchen worktops.
Motorists were faced with lengthy delays as two lanes were closed between Junction 4 and Junction 6 of the busy motorway.
Debris from the equipment was left on the two lanes after the incident which happened near to Spaghetti Junction at 8.20am.
Delays stretched back to Junction 4 and also affected the link road to the M42.
