Birmingham City fans in support of Karren Brady deal

BLUES fans came out in support of the deal drawn up for the club’s departing managing director Karren Brady.
When the Birmingham Mail asked Bluenoses their views on the £520,000 one-off bonus and other perks, only a few thought it unfair.
Supporters on the Small Heath Alliance internet forum said Brady had been “well rewarded” and made a comparison with bonus-loving bankers “who nearly crippled this country”.
Kwacky said: “I don’t think it’s unreasonable. She’s given a large chunk of her working life to Blues. She’s put the hours in, made sure BCFC is a viable company and did a decent job at promoting the club. By all accounts she was still working when she was in hospital.
“I wish her all the best.”
bluearmy2009 said: “When people consider the vast amounts players who have done less for the club than her picked up then she has been worth every penny considering the business she built up at Blues.”
BlueDaveBCFC said: “She did a good job, she’s been well rewarded for it both financially and in terms of raising her own profile to make herself more a saleable commodity to customers such as Alan Sugar.”
The Silver Fox said: “You seem to think this is a negative. Well done to her, she did her job very well and is being rewarded for it, unlike the bankers who nearly crippled this country and will still be taking huge bonuses this Christmas.”
TrevorFrancisTrackSuits said the deal was: “In line with most CEO’s and MD’s packages for businesses of a similar turnover.”
However, Tarquin Kettle responded: “Is it? It seems a bit rich to me for a business with the turnover of Birmingham City PLC.”
