Man's body pulled from Walsall Canal
A MAN’S body was pulled from a Black Country canal by police.
Specialist divers were called to the Walsall Canal in Old Birchills yesterday morning after witnesses reported seeing something in the water.
Police say the death is being treated as unexplained.
The towpath and the neighbouring Navigation Inn were sealed off for around six hours. Pub licensee Shaun Simcox said: “No-one seemed to know who the man was.”
