Walsall road sealed off after acid spillage

Emergency services sealed off a road in Walsall after a chemical spillage.

A 1,000 litre plastic tank of hydrochloric acid leaked and 200 litres of the solution spilled on to Queens Road. Six fire crews, police and the ambulance service attended the scene.

The road was cordoned off and sand used to stem the spillage. Drains were covered to prevent the acid spilling down them.
