Biker avoids serious injury in Yardley Wood crash
A MOTORBIKE rider avoided serious injury after he was propelled through the air following a collision with a car, in School Road, Yardley Wood,
The biker, from Yardley Wood, was told by paramedics he was “very lucky” to escape major harm after landing 12ft from where the accident happened, around 6.45pm on Wednesday.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “The motorcycle was in collision with the passenger side of the car.
“The rider, 43, had suffered a fractured wrist, had pain in one of his shins and various cuts, bumps and bruises.”
