Man's hand trapped in potato picker in Lichfield
A man has been airlifted to hospital after his hand became trapped in a mechanical potato picker near Lichfield.
Paramedics said the man's hand was partially amputated in the accident, which happened in a field near Woodhouse Farm in Curborough.
The man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was flown to the specialist trauma centre at Selly Oak Hospital.
