Fire rips through Ward End shop

A FIRE completely gutted a Birmingham shop where an accountancy firm was based.

The financial company was working out of the ground floor of premises in Washwood Heath Road, Ward End, and went up in flames last night.

The blaze completely destroyed the shop and also caused damage to the two neighbouring shops.

Fire crews are investigating the cause.
