40 firefighters tackle Kings Norton factory blaze
MORE than 40 firefighters today tackled a blaze at a Birmingham factory.
They were called to Impact Repair Centre in Lifford Lane, Kings Norton, at 5.30am.
No workers were in the factory at the time and it took firefighters just over an hour to bring the flames under control.
Because the building is next to a railway line, Network Rail ordered trains to travel slowly past the scene for the safety of the firefighters.
