Former Wolverhampton schoolteacher jailed for breaching sex offenders order twice.

A FORMER school teacher has been jailed for four months for breaching his sex offenders’ order twice.

Kenneth Paskin, who taught at Warley High School, had been told that under the order he should have no contact with anyone under 18 years of age, said prosecutor Edward Soulsby.

But he told Wolverhampton Crown Court that on two occasions the 61-year-old, of Penn Road, Wolverhampton, got in touch with two teenage boys.

Paskin was jailed for three years three months in February 2007 after admitting charges involving abduction, sexual activity with a child, taking indecent photographs of children and possessing indecent images of under age girls.

The former teacher, after breaching his original sex offenders’ order, was made the subject of a three-year community order coupled with a three-year supervision order in April.

But, added Mr Soulsby, in October he made contact with two schoolboys and the police were called. Paskin was bailed, but he contacted one of the boys again and was arrested.

Judge Michael Dudley told Paskin, who admitted two breaches: “You have got to learn you must obey the terms of your order.”

Michael Anning, defending, said there was no suggestion that Paskin’s contact with the two boys would have lead to sexual conduct.
