Fresh warning that escaped killer may be in Chelmsley Wood

POLICE hunting a convicted killer on the run believe he may be in Birmingham.

Brian Clayton, 45, shook off his prison officer escort on a visit to Stafford town centre on October 14 and has not been seen since. Cops believe he may have returned to the Chelmsley Wood area, where he is from.

Clayton was serving a life sentence for beating and kicking 44 year-old Arthur Holden to death in the street, at Lea Hall in 1984.
