A MOTORCYCLIST was left with leg and back injuries after an accident in Birmingham.
Fire crews from Billesley treated the rider after he came off his bike in Pershore Road, Cotteridge, at 7.10pm yesterday.
A fire service spokesman said: “We were on our way to training in Kings Norton when we saw the man in the road and he was already off his bike.
“We believe he had collided with a van and it had left the scene.
“He was conscious but he had leg and back injuries and since we were the first on the scene he was treated by the fire service.
“We then called the police and ambulance service and he was taken to Selly Oak Hospital for treatment.”
