Men hunted over Bloxwich store robbery
Police are hunting two men who held up a Bloxwich shop and stole hundreds of pounds.
The offenders, estimated to be in their 20s, carried out the crime at the Costcutter store on Fishley Lane at around 6.20pm on Saturday.
One of the men threatened a female shop assistant with a kitchen knife before they made of with "a few hundred pounds", police said.
Detective constable Mark Waite from Bloxwich CID said: "The shop was busy with a few customers at the time of the robbery and all of those people would have been fearful of what might happen.
"Thankfully no-one was hurt, but we need to catch these men who were prepared to threaten violence with a knife.
"We urge anyone who saw them flee the scene to come forward and tell us what they know."
The offenders are described as white men, wearing dark coloured clothing. One wore a balaclava and the other had blonde hair.
