THE company behind controversial plans for a wind farm in rural Staffordshire is inviting local residents to discuss the project and take a guided tour of the proposed site.
German-based Prowind is planning to erect four wind turbines, each 125 metres tall to the tip of the blades, on land between the villages of Haunton and Clifton Campville, near Tamworth.
The company is currently carrying out a detailed environmental impact assessment of the site.
Prowind, which is based in Germany, is now inviting residents in several nearby villages to attend a public exhibition on Thursday at St Michael & St James Parish Hall, Haunton, from 2pm to 7.30pm.
