Cadbury's good name relies on British workforce, says Gordon Brown

THE Prime Minister had a warning for any potential buyer of Birmingham’s chocolate manufacturer Cadbury, as he said the firm’s success and global reputation depended on its British workforce.
“I think the important thing is the good name of Cadbury is still capable of winning large business around the world.
“And that good name arises from the excellent productive capacity of Cadbury here in Britain.
“So I believe the true value for Cadbury will mean whatever its status, it’s going to still have a very big presence in our country.”
