Horse rider airlifted to hospital after Wolverley accident
A RIDER was airlifted to hospital after she fell from her horse in Worcestershire.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene in Wolverley, near Kidderminster at 11.40am yesterday.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews found a woman, believed to be in her 40s, who had fallen from a horse.
“The woman was treated on scene for head and back injuries.
“She was immobilised using a spinal board and given pain relief at the scene, before being airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham for further assessment and treatment.”
