Pensioner died hours after hospital security staff left him at bus stop

AN inquest heard how a pensioner died hours after security staff removed him from a Black Country hospital and left him at a bus stop in the early hours of the morning.

Guards from Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, pushed Mohammed Yasin, 73, to the stop in a wheelchair at 1am on November 6, last year.

More than four hours later the OAP was found by the roadside. He was dead by the time he was returned to the hospital, where he had initially been admitted after being found intoxicated outside a pub.

Black Country Coroner Robin Balmain recorded an open verdict after hearing the pensioner had been discharged by medics after refusing treatment.
