Man dies after being hit by car near Birmingham city centre
A PEDESTRIAN has died after being knocked down by a car in Birmingham.
The 24-year-old man was hit by a black Ford Ka at about 10.30am yesterday on the A34 in the Aston area of the city.
He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
Last night police appealed for witnesses to the accident.
“The A34 is a busy road, especially on a Saturday,” a spokesman said. Anyone with information should call 0845 113 5000.
