Teenager pushes sex attacker into canal during ordeal in Witton

A SEX attacker was pushed into a Birmingham canal when the brave teenage victim fought back.

The 15-year-old girl also bit the man on the arm during her terrifying ordeal near a bus stop outside Barn Social Club in Brookvale Road, Witton.

The attacker dragged her down to a canal towpath and subjected her to a “serious sexual assault”. but the victim bit his right arm and pushed him into the canal before fleeing at about 5pm on December 9.

The offender was black, aged about 20, 6ft tall, freshly shaven with a wide nose and local accent. He wore a black Adidas hooded top, and, dark blue jeans with number ‘99’ and a gold ring on his left hand.
