Jack Williams died on Monday, December 21, at Sandwell Hospital, having suffered a fall at his home in Beeches Road, West Bromwich.
His three children Ted, John and Joyce said he would be remembered for his dedication to West Bromwich, serving the town for 30 years as either councillor, alderman or mayor.
Retired estate agent Joyce, aged 62, said: “He was a very caring man. He was totally dedicated to West Bromwich.”
