Woman seriously injured after Shirley crash
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Solihull.
The incident took place at 4.06pm yesterday, in Baywell Close, Shirley. A VW Golf was in collision with a 59 year old woman, who suffered serious head injuries- she remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The vehicle then left the scene.
Police are investigating the collision and a 30-year old man was later arrested in connection with the incident and is helping with police enquiries.
