Mini LEGO land arrives in Bullring centre

MINI-versions of the thousands of shoppers who will pass through Birmingham’s Bullring centre over the festive season are drawing the crowds.
Miniature Bullring is made of retro toy LEGO and features more than 300 little model shoppers, along with the centre’s iconic features, including Selfridges’ silver discs and the water feature in St Martin’s Square.
Shoppers visited the customer service desk to craft mini versions of themselves out of LEGO, including selecting their own facial expressions, hair colour and clothes.
The replica of Bullring – which is over a metre high and wide – is made from more than 18,000 LEGO bricks and can be seen at the customer service desk until the New Year.
Tim Walley, general manager of Bullring, said: “It’s brilliant to see the finished LEGO Bullring and to have seen so many of our shoppers getting involved.”
